Why is there no environmental impact study being done? This is a public matter and should be thoroughly studied as wetlands are very important for water conservation.

If the application by the DG Group in fact ensures that there will be no environmental impact as the result of what they plan to do, why is the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority being so secretive? The fact they are not releasing all pertinent information to the public, suggests they are either totally arrogante, or there is something in the application that will be detrimental to the local environment. Neither of these possibilities are acceptable behaviour on the part of a public body.

These wetlands need to be protected. Too many municipalities are allowing housing to go up on important wetlands. It is a detriment to wildlife, nature and the eco-system to allow a trailer park or anything kind of housing to go into this area.

As a member of the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre I am fully aware of how important wetlands are and urge the LSRCA to fully protect all wetlands and surrounding areas to provide for all the wildlife living there.

Wetlands provide a long list of valuable benefits that should not be compromised by development that will irrevocably damage them. Southern Ontario has already converted over 75% of it's wetland to other uses. We need them more than we need trailer parks.

No more developing on provincially significant land, especially wetlands, as we face the effects of global warming - these natural areas help to regulate water levels and control flooding. Remove them, and watch the impacts of sudden, wild storms. Not to mention the wildlife, plant life and ecosystem which will be destroyed for a bunch of mobile homes. Really???

How on earth can a mobile home park of over 1,000 units NOT have an adverse effect on a wetland. The road and services network alone would disrupt drainage patterns that are critical to it's continued good health.
