Has the LSCRA ever heard of the protected Oak Ridges Moraine? Let's hope money isn't a deciding factor behind closed doors! Stouffville,ON

I think Metrus projects around the GTA should all be hassled increasing their costs.

What happened to open and transparent government. They must have something they wish to hide from us. It is certainly not a matter of national security. The public has a right to know. The well being of the lake is everyone's concern not just that of some behind closed door bureaucrats. If there was't good reason to suspect malfeasance before there sure is now.

We need wetlands and public input is vital. What is becoming of our "conservation authorizes"? So disheartening to "see" what is going on with our tax paid agencies put in place to protect the public interest. Problems with these agencies are rampant in this province!!!!

Cockroaches can't flourish if the light is shining on them. Anyone working in the public sector in darkness, behind closed doors and wallpapered walls of esteem , that won't open the curtains of scrutiny into their goings-on, especially after repeated calls for it, are logically not sincere and false on their statements, and pretenses. It would be ignorant to assume otherwise.

This situation is outrageous. The public has the right to review this application and have objections heard before irrevocable damage is done to our wetlands and wildlife. A mobile home park of over 1,000 units has no place on Lake Simcoe's shores. Where is the political conscience?

Keswick. I have lost all confidence in the ability of LSRCA to look out for the environmental interest of this region. They obviously believe that deep pockets take precedence over the environment. Time for a change of leadership at LSRCA.

This is completely outrageous and not acceptable! The LSRCA is a public body with a mandate to protect Lake Simcoe and its watershed. Where is the transparency and accountability to the taxpayers? Why are you still protecting the DG Group (Metrus)? Please do your job and stop this insane development once and for all. This charade has gone on long enough!

Wetlands are necessary for the health of the planet.

Surely the Province is aware of this but is failing to act.

Even though the DECISION maybe one for LSRCA to make without input from the public, why would you not release/publish the application?

As members of the LSRCA you were appointed to be guardians of the environment but you also represent us, the tax payers ! So OPEN THE DOORS and stop hiding !!! This is a PUBLIC matter NOT PRIVATE.
