I have found these centres invaluable for chest infections when Doctors appointments are not available for at least 3 weeks. They are ideal for dealing with minor health issues simply requiring medication. The hospital is for more serious situations.

As asthmatic I often find the walk in centre is the only option available to me as it is impossible to get a doctors appointment - even for such an emergency. My own surgery has told me to go to the walk in centre! Can someone tell me how I will get emergency treatment iis such are closed? The casualty department at Arrowe Park has enough to deal with. Last time - after a fall, I waited 5hrs to be seen! Absolute madness.

The walk in centres provide excellent service. No lengthy wait as there currently is when attending Arrowe Park. Common sense says if you close several Walk ins AP will be inundated and the system will fail

Closing them is a backward step that will put extra pressure on A+E departments and GP surgeries which are already at breaking point

The CCG must be deranged and deluded proposing to close our Walk In Centres. It's beyond belief and doesn't make any sense at all. Our Walk in Centres are brilliant. The thought of having to travel to Arrowe Park is horrendous. Going by car - where will we park and how much will it cost waiting for hours to be seen.

This is disgusting that we again are having to fight to not have something taken from us that will impact us all greatly and risk our children. Wirral council are disgusting.

What a great idea, to move services to an already over-stretched APH, that struggles daily to cope, that’s without the added pressure of a of a new service to the site. Is this idea, money motivated ? Where’s is the evidence to suggest, it will improve patient ? Will centralised care add more pressure to the site ? Where’s the additional parking to cope with increased capacity ?
