We need walk in Eastham as unless you drive you can't get to arrowe Park hospital and there are a lot of elderly and children in this area

Losing our local walk in centres would be a disaster for GP practices that are already at breaking point due to pressures of patient demand and nhs contractual obligations. If you want the entire wirral being run by locums then this a sure way of doing so. It is highly unlikely that gp partners or salaried GPs will be able to manage with the extra workload and will either have to resign or go off sick due to stress. From a patient perspective the necessity of travelling further for walk- in centre care will cause a lot of distress and inconvenience.

Can’t believe they want to close such a valuable service

These proposals are completely against the ethos of more local, more efficient health services, and most certainly isolate our most deprived areas even more from the services they need, focussing even more heathcare provision on the wealthier west side of the M53 corridor. We cannot allow this to happen unopposed!

These people need to give their heads a ****in' wobble..... The country is run by bent politicians and councillors lining their own pockets who forget about the little people that put them there in the first place!!

If nhs walk in centres close, private practice will flourish, there will be take over if health care by private companies there will be more long term morbidity, unemployment, depression affecting people from low socio economic group the most

This service is invaluable to the area, and should be allowed to continue

Patients benefit from having local services in their area. Closing on this will add more pressure to an already under pressure gp service and arrowe park

The idiots that have decided this is a good idea have never had to use the service and probably have private treatment to boot!

I feel this will be detrimental to the Local population and wonder where the Ccg are going to magically find these extra gp appointments !!!

I think the walk in centre in Birkenhead provides a valuable service for a deprived population who would have difficulty travelling to the Arrowe Park site.
