The walk-in centres are an essential service. There is a lot of pressure on GP's so getting an appointment with them is impossible at short notice. Why put pressure on A&E and cause increased costs by closing walk-in and minor injury units? It doesn't make sense!

There’s already too much pressure on GP surgeries and not enough appointments. Closing walk in’s will only add to this problem.

As a non-driving pensioner, I can walk to the Mill Lane Centre. It takes 2 buses or a 10 pound taxi ride each way to get to Arrowe Park. Arrowe Park is already over-crowded!

This service has been a God send to me and my family and saved us having to take up hospital time and space. So why would you add more work for our local hospitals it's a crazy idea

I am a healthcare professional who has worked in Wirral fir over 25 years. This is the most ridiculous idea and the CCG is claiming there is great support for their proposals.
Are they living on a separate planet and believe in the concept that if you lie enough number of times people will just believe it.
This does not gave peoples support, does not have GPs suppot and am glad that the Council has unanimously vited to reject it. I think there neeeds to be some rationalisation and those that are not widely used need to be merged with ones that are open 7 days. I have just seen the data of usage for Miriam Minor Injury at a medical meeting today and shocked tgat this service that is open 365 days is potentially to be closed.
Keep making your voice heard and say no to closure of practice based services.

Communities need local access to medical aid. The proposed position neither is easily or quickly accessible. The proposed choice means carparking is almost none existent in the hospital now with very limited disabled bays that has expensive parking charges. Time to travel and park will almost certainly double the visit time. This is third rate patient care even before a person sees a nurse/doctor.

Not every one has access to cars and even if they have the car parks at APH are always full.

This plan needs to be stopped immediately!! Walk-in centres provide valuable emergency care for minor injuries and illnesses that require urgent attention.
Without them the already overburdened out of hours centres and APH will be even more inundated with people than they already are jeopardising care, rapid access to medical staff and people's lives

Arrowe Park is difficult to get to by public transport for some people and parking is impossible. There are always long waiting times and with several other services incorporated into one it will be overcrowded and unpleasant as well as having even longer waits. This proposal is not in the interests of patients.
