It’s an appalling idea to close the MIU on Wirral. It will create more chaos for Arrowe Park who are already stretched beyond their limits!

These units are too important to the people of Wirral to close them.

The idea of closing these local services and bringing them to Arrowe Park if ridiculous. The site is congested already.

Arrive park will not cope with the demands. We need to keep the walk in centres or an already overloaded A&E will get worse

We need to keep these open as they are a great help to the local community.

Diabolical move to shut walk in centres putting an already under pressure A&E department under more pressure. People will not use the alternatives they will just turn up at A&E !

The reasons given in the Proposal for altering the current Care System seem like lame excuses to justify shutting down the Walk In centres which serve the Wirral communities so well at present. It's almost impossible to access Arrowe Park at present, and extremely difficult to access a Doctor at the GP surgery. How can the proposal to put further pressure on these already struggling services be considered an improvement ? The Walk In Centres offer a much needed local service, and I don't believe that there is any of the supposed confusion in the essential services they give. This is surely just a cost cutting exercise, and the NHS Wirral C.C.G. should be open and honest about reasons behind their future plans. This proposal to close them is not what the people of Wirral want.

This will drastically reduce access for patients to vital medical services. APH will be inundated and the waiting times will go up . The people MUST have the option of these services being kept. If they go it’s Armageddon for vital health services in Wirral

Keep these vital walk in centres at the heart of the community and give the Nurses who run them more autonomy. APH cannot cope with further centralisation, there's no reliable bus service nor space for parking and this at over £3 a throw. The poor, elderly and families need these vital services to be accessible.
