- Immediately withdraw the proposal to close Wirral’s NHS walk-in facilities and minor injuries/illness units
- Before 15 December 2018, organise an accessible public meeting in every Wirral council ward, attended by a member of CCG staff and a Wirral Council representative, to discuss the views of Wirral residents relating to proposed changes to health and care services

I dread to think of the problems that will be caused if the walk-in centres are closed. Volume of people and traffic at Arrowe Park and public transport problems to name a few. I thought the walk-ins were created to help alleviate these problems!
We need them as a working non driver single parent I can’t afford taxis to Arrowe Park and couldn’t manage 2 buses if my family were ill The walk in Centres need more investment closing them would affect the most vulnerable in our community
Arrowe park is miles away from my home and takes a really long time to get to. I've used the walk in at VCH and been diagnosed and treated there with various health issues over the years. I also know when it's appropriate to present myself at A&E.
The minor injuries and walk in services are located in areas of Wirral where people experience greatest deprivation and struggle most to travel to a centralised service. They have demonstrated a positive impact on hospital attendances. Please reconsider.
I have used MIRIAM MIU several times because I have needed medical attention on the same day. I have always been seen promptly and discharged home. Excellent service that’s run with highly professional nurses, will be criminal to close this service
This is a much needed service in the local community. Closing would stretch other services even further with a health service that is pushed to the brink
This centre is a real NHS treasure. I am so glad of it this week following my operation at Arrowe Park. My own GP has no facilities available and the walk in at Arrowe Park has waiting times measured in hours.

I have found these centres invaluable for chest infections when Doctors appointments are not available for at least 3 weeks. They are ideal for dealing with minor health issues simply requiring medication. The hospital is for more serious situations.
