With the Peninsula already short on nursery places and so many families reliant on nurseries and wrap around care it’s imperative that the nursery reopens! Doesn’t help the dodgy councillors that have closed it down and refuse to answer questions!

Absolutely disgusting behaviour by the committee to do this and then not even to justify their appalling actions

Nursery is the only local provision around, and needed for parents who work and need full day childcare. Stupid decision for the committee to shut, not considering the villagers at all

Disgusted as to how this was shut down with immediate effect with no explanation from the committee, and whilst the nursery was closed for Easter.

I am singing this petition for my best friends family and child. This nurseary has helped them work for a living and a safe place for their child to be , he has improved so much here and loves it. Taking this away from people who has worked hard and doing it for the village is a hero
Better yet , the “committee hall and anyone else involved do not understand the problems it would cause if closed”
Stand together and fight back !! No law and no structure was broken

This is a must for this village, unless the excuse for closing is because they will start a new one, say in the Holiday Camp or Cross Park, whatever the excuse, NO THANKYOU

This nursery is a vital provision for families in the local villages. Without this nursery many parent cannot work. They offer wrap around care which is also so very needed in the community for older children. Something that isn’t offered within the local school.

It is devastating that a local village community hall does not want to support its community with a much needed provision. Rather than support and promote a fantastic facility for children from 2-11 years they seem intent on tearing it down and removing a much welcomed service for the community.

This playschool/nursery is a vital part of the community and what is happening is very unfair

Devastating for the community. Taking this provision away from families will be detrimental
