I grew up at 74 Lenox Ave. and the trees are what makes this street so beautiful.. The trees have been there for a century and should remain as a part of Historic Neighborhood. Please Please DO NOT cut the trees. Listen to the utility company and arborists that say they don't need to be cut. Get Eversource out of the equation and get some qualified Tree Wardens that know what they are doing.

Please save the charm and beauty of Glenbrook. I have owned for 20 years and the trees are a major part of my decision to live in this neighborhood. Don't destroy this historical neighborhood. Let's work in partnership for a solution!

As a neighboring street owner and owner on Lenox I would be devastated to see the tree lined streets demolished. It's what makes Glenbrook so beautiful. Keep the trees!

I lived at 72 Lenox Ave for 16 years! The trees are the neighborhood...they have been there forever. Taking any of them down will destroy the character, charm and devalue the homes. Those trees at Halloween create a storybook atmosphere for the children. Find responsible tree wardens to maintain them!

I support "trimming" over removal! Trimming has not been done ongoing over the years. Dead trees should be removed, not the living. Thank you.

I have been on Lenox ave for 36 years raised my children here. One of the deciding factors to move here was the beauty of the tree canopy on our street. Take a side of those trees out there goes the beauty, charm of our street, which can lead to devaluation of all properties on Lenox , as well as increased pollution and temperatures. I feel if the trees were dealt with as they should of been by the city we would not have this issue.

I have lived at 51 Lenox Ave since 1976 . These trees are integral to our home and out neighborhood; they should be cared for and respected not cut down!

I am very concerned about the City of Stamford placing the demands of Eversource over the quality of life of its tax-paying residents. Although we continue to be promised by our Tree Wardens that there will not be any further action on these trees, Eversource pushes them around every year, followed by new excuses and a new sets of meetings and hearings. No one has touched these trees in 20 years, nor have they caused an outage - now for the last three years, Eversource annually says JUMP, and our Tree Wardens ask HOW HIGH, and the community needs to rally to stop it. Stamford needs to get back to enforcing a better quality of life for their residents - which they have overlooked for too long. It needs Tree Wardens that will stand up to utilities and fight for the community, not suck up to Eversource. If the current administration wants our support on property tax increases, it better damn well prove that it is supporting the hardworking citizens/taxpayers of this community, and not supporting big utility over its own residents.
