Save our Homes Eureka

We urge the the City of Eureka, Missouri to reject the proposal to change Eureka’s zoning to allow an open pit mine to be constructed and operated in the area along the Meramec River flood plain that is and has been zoned for years to allow large home single family residences. We believe that an open pit mine and large sand and gravel dump trucks will create unnecessary traffic, safety and health hazards, and increased costs and taxes for Eureka residents; do not preserve and protect the residential community of Eureka and the Meramec River Greenway; and offer no benefits to Eureka, its homeowners, and neighbors.
