From a business perspective, the Target in Odessa, FL (Suncoast Parkway and SR 54) should see a huge increase in business over the next couple years as there are thousands of homes planned in numerous new communities within just a few miles in every direction of that store. Many of the neighborhoods have already begun development. From a personal perspective, I LIVE at this Target, please don't close it! This is one of the best maintained and well designed stores around. The next closest in Lutz (between Dale Mabry and US41) is smaller and not as well designed. I used to get frustrated every time I went to that store and have actually stopped going to avoid the frustration at the lack of merchandise and selection. Please save our Target!!!

Just heard that you are closing your Suncoast Target store in Odessa, FL because of declining sales? This makes no sense considering the location at SR 54 and the Suncaost Parkway. With all the new homes and apartments that have recently been built in Trinity East. Add to that over 12,000 new residential units planned for the area. Starkey Ranch DRI is a few miles west and is under construction for 5,050 residential units. Suncoast Target is located at southwest corner of SR 54 and Suncoast Expressway, located at northeast corner of SR 54 and Suncoast Expressway is Bexley Ranch which is under construction and planned for 6,000 homes and 520 apartments. Asturia is just over a mile to the west and is under construction planned for 550 homes, 200 townhomes and 440 apartments.
