Please do not close this store. It is one of the better Target stores in the area. The area around this Target growing fast with lots of new housing development. I love Target and this is so upsetting!

Many of us will be upset if the Odessa store is replaced by a Target in Wesley a Chapel by the Tampa outlets! Hundreds of homes are being built 2 miles from thevOdessa store!! Not a happy customer!!

I'm not sure how or why the decision was made to close the Target store Suncoast Pasco County (Odessa, Fla.) but from my point of view it is the wrong store to close. Regardless of the sales numbers today. Several large communities are under construction within 2 miles from this store. “Bexley North” with plans for 11,025 single family homes, 600 multifamily/apartments plus about 832,000 square feet of office and retail uses is in the works. As well as Starkey Ranch which is well under way which is approved for up to 5,050 residential units. It seems to me that this target store was well placed to take advantage of so many new home buyers. These new residents will be forced to shop elsewhere. The next closest Target stores are both situated next to Super Walmart's. Instead of being the main draw for area shopping, you'll be in competition with a much larger retailer. I hope it isn't too late to reconsider.
