If they have been open to residents previously they should not be closed. Period. It’s evident many people require this water source for daily use. Mitigation to deter/stop commercial would not be as difficult as they are making it seem.

Turn the taps back on and clean the watershed at Black River Road, at least hose it out.

We get water there to drink. Now I'll have to get it at chalk lake. Sutton was easier. Should have charged the people that were getting to much in big tanks .

Hard to believe a decision that affects so many was made without public consultation.

I use the taps for drinking water as we are on a well. These taps are very important to me as a resident of Pefferlaw. We do not have the option of town water.

This shouldn't even be a question. These should be kept open.

Keep ALL our water taps open and free to residents !! Many citizens depend on this for safe potable water. Altering access is unjustifiable. Clean water is essential to the health and well-being of everyone !! Paying for water is not an equitable option !! Georgina Mayor and Council need to put the breaks on the closures, open the taps, enforce by-law issues and have a full and open public consultation.

Disgusting lack of consideration for the eastern side of the town, but typical.

Total frustration in trying to get safe drinking water in our area recently. Beaverton has open access to their town water. This is absurd and a lot of people aren't even aware of this situation with the town until they go to get water. What a let down.

It is absolutely disgusting that the town has taken away water for the residents who need it. They never consider Pefferlaw in decisions. This town is getting worse and worse yet we pay such high taxes. I guess we need to fund all those studies which we shouldn't as the town should have qualified staff to do these.

My family survived for 8 years on the town pumps due to a dry well. Finally we were able to get the funding for a new well. If not for the town well I would have been toting water from the lake and boiling it. Terribly way to live in this time of technology. No town water in Pefferlaw.

My family uses this tap weekly to fill jugs. Please do not shut off.
Come on, we can do better. People rely on this!
