This bar is very much part of the Brixton community and with establishments like this I would. Never have made the friends or felt that I was part of the Sw9 community. It's a place that brings people together from all walks of life.

To much of Brixton's heritage is being sold off. The SW9 Bar has cultural importance in the centre of Brixton. It should be saved.

The brixtonian before and sw9 bar have been part of my life for 25 years ! Enough mindless regeneration somethings need to stay the same !

SW9 is a great bar and must not be allowed to close for the sake of a hotel. Been going there for 20-odd years, have so many happy memories and hope to have many more.

Many a good time had here with friends and family. Such a shame to close because Alan is such a hard worker and invested a lot of his time in the bar and to making it a nice place to be for everyone!

Why oh why do Lambeth planning keep letting these crap ideas through. Other than money of course ... We must fight even longer and harder this time !! We can not let this happen to such a lovely bar run by lovely people. Had so many great times there and I want the choice to have many more ! So keep your dirty thieving hands off SW9 Bar. Plus with the plans adding two more floors above the excisting building will mean it's blocking light from my garden and home !
Scambeth would sell the air we breath if it wasn't so bloody polluted! Hands off SW9

I love SW9 bar good food,great atmosphere. Why on earth would you build a hotel directly under a busy railway line anyway??

This is a fantastic pub, where Everyone from the community can meet up, its great for catching up with one another while out shopping, great atmosphere great Staff, fantastic food, and your made to feel so welcome, I visited when I was in London for a funeral, and was made very welcome, I;m from Newcastle upon Tyne, and My local is cold and unfriendly, compared to SW9. Please reconsider and KEEP this pud as the HEART of the community
