We as sportsman need everyone to do there part in cleaning up the Susquehanna River. We need to band together as one to help keep the river clean with No pollutions running into to it. The government needs to shut down polluters, not just a slap on the wrist with a very light fine. Pollution needs to stop now and clean and fix what is wrong in and around the river.

As a boater on the river since the 70s the water quality had been declining rapidly. Example......look at Cordorus Lake and then look at the river. Cordorus Lake is a blue green color. The river is always brownish looking. And slimy. Please clean our river NOW!!!

This should not even be a question that YOU would WANT to take care of this!
Common sense. That should just say it all. Don't you agree?

I am huge kayaker of the susky. I'm tired of seeing dead fish, slick on the water, stepping out into foul smelling silt that can be more than knee deep! Save the river, please!

We are a decade late already. One of the greatest natural resources of our Commonwealth is vanishing. It may be too late already, but in God's name and for the sake of our children please begin to make a stand for our river, our smallmouths, and a lifestyle which I don't want to tell my 18 month old daughter about as a memory.

Up and down the Susquehanna and its creeks, people are lamenting the demise of the smallmouth. Many people are going to the Potomac, Shenandoah or Delaware to fish. Governor Wolf, bring back the Susquehanna River. We can do this! Please declare our river impaired.
