This state needs to get its priorities together and start cleaning up the environment let's start with our own state that we pay our taxes in... clean up these rivers or set some stricter laws on what's going into these rivers so we can stop destroying our environment. I am urging them to do the right thing and start caring about this state that we're all trying to enjoy and live in alongside all the aquatic and land dwelling wilflife :)

There are plenty of people on probation who require community service hours. This might be a great resource for man-power.

I am a fisherman and have fished it since a kid. If the susquehanna river ecosystem is gone than in turn it will in turn hurt other ecosystems.

So just a few key hit points on why it is important to Save Our Susquehanna Historical - For centuries Our Susquehanna has played integral roles on significant historical events. From the Civil War to Hurricane Agnus, it has had a rich heritage deserves to be treated as such if not more. Public Safety- As I am sure that you are aware Gov. Wolf a portion of York County's water supply is taken from Our Susquehanna, and I am sure other counties utilize similar resources. DO YOU WANT YOUR GRANDCHILDREN DRINKING WATER FROM THAT RIVER, GOV. WOLF?!?! Environmental- Anyone that can read a map, is aware the Our Susquehanna and it's tributaries begin in the state of New York and flow southerly through out great commonwealth emptying into the great Chesapeake Bay and further into the Atlantic. Our waters affect thousands, if not millions of species of fish, birds, reptiles, mammals, etc. There HAS been a rapid decline in just the fish population alone. Don't speak, but LISTEN to the concerns of residents and sportsmen of PA as well as the PA Fish and Game Commission, and you will hear just how dire of a need we have in Our Susquehanna. Lastly, since government is all about money, Revenue- While Our Susquehanna is a free natural resource for all of us to enjoy, consider the possibility of the River being a money booster for our Commonwealth; increases in tourism along a 150 mile stretch in Central Pennsylvania, increases in boaters, fishermen and hunters investing in licenses and registrations from both residents and non-residents. Please SERIOUSLY consider this petition to take action now before we surpass the point of irreparable damage and lose Our Susquehanna. You're a governor FOR the people, so take a moment and LISTEN to us.

I fish this river 5 out of 7 days a week, the decline in fish and the over all health of the river is unbelievable. This was once a top 5 smallmouth fishery in the country, please help us to resurrect the MIGHTY SUSQUEHANNA !
