These centers help families stay FAMILIES. They help Young mums learn how to raise their new children, help postnatel sufferers to come through those awful black times and give a calm and reassuring place for those that need it.

without my surestart centre I would not of been able to cope with post natel depression and come out the other side with my beautiful daughters. if they closed too many families would be massively effected for the worse.

These centres are vital for children and mothers! I have been using my local centres for five years, my children have really benefited from the learning, play and social interactions they have had in the centre and I would have been lost without them. the government need to realise how important these centres are for families!!

The government should not under estimate how important these centres are. They stop new mum's feeling isolated which is very important.

The Surestart centres have been a lifeline to myself and others I know. They also provide great learning, play and social interaction for babies and pre-school children. It would be a tradgedy if this facility was lost.

Sure Start changed my life. At one point I was the lowest I've been and they were there to pick me up and helped me be a happy person inside and out. They are a wonderful team with big hearts.

My daughter went to Yaps pre and post natal, they helped support her as a young mum, helped her continue her education and helped her gain an apprenticeship and set her on the road to self sufficiency. If it hadn't been there maybe she would have still managed to sort herself out and be above excellent working mother she is today, but most likely she would be scrapping pennies together trying to keep her head above water. They were babies themselves at 16 & 17, and are wonderful competent parents thanks to sure start.
