Mr. Fernandez is the best Superintendent. He's the only one that truly cared about us students and he made sure we had a voice.

I thought the report was to investigate whether or not the Superintendent sexually harassed a student... but no, it's about whether proper procedures were followed? He may very well be innocent but the GEB terminated his contract anyway.
My question is, when the report was filed, did the victim file it with the Superintendent (the alleged perpetrator), or did she file it with the GEB? From what I read, this all came out during E.Mesa's CSC hearing negotiations... Where is the transparency in this department? The PEOPLE deserve to know who did wrong, rather than attempt to cover it up. I am speculating why this is being covered up, and it's a good speculation--$50 million from the feds to operate our schools--this is a really good reason, since we ALL know procedures were not followed, but who is responsible for that? GEB or the Superintendent? And, if it is the GEB, then why is the Superintendent--yes, by far one of the best Superintendents I have ever worked with--being released? Maybe it is time to release the GEB instead. The PEOPLE deserve to know! I am signing this petition because I believe the Superintendent is being used as a scapegoat for someone else's negligence, but I won't know this for sure until that report is made transparent! If he did wrong, terminate him... If he failed to follow procedures, make it a learning lesson and give him another chance--he definitely deserves it! Gumataotao has an obligation to protect his clients, not the Superintendent, which I personally believe is the reason this is all being covered up. I may be wrong, but at least my voice is going to be heard, and no one can tell me to be quiet about it--it's my freedom of speech, after all!
