He has done great things for our Department and he is the most accessible Superintendent we have ever had! (He frequently visits schools and is on Social media like Twitter and Facebook. He responds to student concerns and interacts and supports teachers.).
With what I know about Mr. Fernandez and all of the wonderful things he has helped GDOE do, he should still be our Superintendent so he can continue to help us grow and improve.

He is the ONLY superintendent that people actually know the name of. WHY? Because he is the ONLY superintendent that actually cared enough to get to know us and what us student think. We wanted change to be made within schools, and that's exactly what he did. He should be able to continue to make changes within our school!

The first superintendent ever to show his face around. The first superintendent to actually be invovled with the students not just in the office or by following the rules of GDOE. He took the extra mile to meet students and get their opinion on matters.
