We had just signed the papers to buy our house when the sign for the Starbucks opening at St Clair and Christie first went up. We knew that it was a sign that we bought in the right neighborhood - so much so that we don’t know how we could ever leave. We thought that it would be the same for Starbucks. We hope Starbucks will stay here as long as we plan to stay (a very long time). It’s been a staple in our lives in the neighborhood, and is now for our kids too as they grow up.

Keep this neighbourhood hub open. It brings our community together. I'm a loyal customer and it would be a shame to see this location disappear.

I just found out yesterday that the Hillcrest Starbucks is to close, which boggles. I go here several times a week post-spin class and it’s terrific to chat with some fellow class attendees and to chill out. I’m also skeptical of the reasoning from a business perspective as St Clair West intensifies with new residents and established ones. Please reconsider!

This Starbucks is a hub to the community and the linchpin in my young family transitioning to the neighbourhood. A short walk away, plenty of friendly people and a sense of comfort. We will be sad and disappointed to see it go.

We go to this Starbucks practically everyday. We go for cold drinks with our kids and grab coffees in the morning. It is so convenient and a part of our ritual. When we bought our house 7 years ago we sat there and discussed our offer. We have been going back ever since. It is an important part of the neighbourhood and I hope it stays open.
