Don't be so lazy. The horses were microchipped, someone needs to be k and notify rescues or reinstate freeze branding.

Freezebrand and microchip. Safer that way. Most sales don’t check for microchips so don’t take their identity away.

The USTA is an organization that we the members should be heard loud and clear that when it comes to this matter they should not turn a blind eye to this sad situation and realize without the freeze brand you may as well be signing a death warrant for the horses who end up in a kill pen with no physical brand for organizations that are out there who try to save them from this horrendous death. #istandforthebrand

Visible freeze-brands are the only way to identify these horses in auctions & kill pens. Horses who have only a microchip will have no protection down the road when they are used up & dumped.

Needs to be kept if breeders are just going to sell them to people that have no business having them and damaging them then taking them to MURDER PENS!
