we actually did it and the centre is staying open. i am honestly so happy and relieved that we kept this space for our kids. lets keep keeping an eye on things just to make sure they stick to their word.

Springwell cc do the most amazing work with a lot of extremely vulnerable people in the deprived area of Bootle. If this closed down it would have a massively negative effect on the local community and put very vulnerable children and families at massive risk.
What an absolute joke this proposal is! No mention of what the service will look like, which means one thing, there will be nothing left at Springwell. This place is so good and helped me overcome PND.
This centre is needed so much. I’ve attended a few courses they have been great after my serious illness. They have given me the confidence to get out and about
Ridiculous idea to close this centre! Been part of the local community for over 10 years now. Nothing similar close by so a lot of parents/carers & children will miss out on the support and help given by this centre.
Me an my girls rely on this centre each week as it's close to our home and if it's moved Will take 45 mins to walk to nearest one an I for one don't drive ani wouldn't want my girls walking that far it's ridiculous!!
Such a fantastic children's centre outstanding
This is a essential service for our community and you are closing the doors to the very people you serve shame on you disgraceful

Please do not shut our children’s centre. This is not only a major part of my journey whilst becoming a new mum, but a huge part of my daughters development in the run up to her first birthday. Absolutely devastating at the thought of losing such a vital part of our community.
