Some true facts on HRA/HPC - new HPC web-site, Built By Jay - that's Jay Vincent, Councillor, lives in Widmer End! paid for the job, mentored by Tony Howard HRA, father of 2 councillors. Jay Vincent is also a skate-boarder, managed the public consultation on the skate-park, also the partner of Cllr Howard. We would also like to know if there's any truth in the rumour that the ex-chair of the Fete Committee (and current Chair of HPC) arranged for his son to be paid for car-park attendant at the Hazlemere Village Fete. Unlike HRA, all HSA/HSA Ltd management committee are volunteers and doing a darn good job for the community!

I was born in Hazlemere 73 years ago and value community resources - the Sports Pavilion is a vital asset for community cohesion.

The sports pavillion is vital nit inlt to the local but also the wider community and as such must remain as a benefit to that community and not a commercial opportunity for the council.

The pavilion was built to be a community facility not a cammercial asset and that is what it should remain. The current HPC seem to be trying to alienate their parishoners with many of their decisions. This will certainly be another one

As a member of the HWCC the use of this facility was a critical part of deciding to move to Hazlemere. If turned into a "commercial" enterprise the Council will finish up with a white elephant and users of the sorts facilities will be unabletohave a good pavilion and social hub for the clubs.

This facility is urgently needed for the community and te sports association should remain as sole tenants at an annual peppercorn rent.

If we want our children to play sport and benefit from all that playing sport offers being part of a team, keeping fit etc then we must provide easy and affordable access, by not providing this we will only be storing up trouble in the future, the use of the Pavilion is very important and we need it to continue in the way it is run at the moment, any other action would be extremely short sighted.

The proposal of the Parish Council to charge an increased rent is disgraceful, immoral, contrary to the wishes of the community and would also be a breach of contract and potentially illegal. The Council should NOT go ahead with this action, and if they do we should take legal action to hold the Council members personally liable for any VAT penalties and other financial consequences. - 285 Amersham Rd, HP15 7QA

The Ken Williams Memorial Pavilion is an excellent venue and many, many families in Hazlemere benefit from the numerous activities run from this building. It would be an absolute crime for it to close and would let down so many children for whom sport is so important.

This community facility is too well used and valuable to be lost - please don't raise the rent or it will need to close and so many people will lose the benefits it provides.
