I think the HSA have done a wonderful job, unpaid volunteers(in this day and age it is unheard of!!) to be having this threat over thieir head and turning business away in this economic climate is absolutely crazy.I am in this line of business and I do not know if you are aware of the impossibility to get good staff??This committee works endlessly to obtain great standards.Hazlemere Parish Council is being very short sighted. I do hope common sense (which is not very common!) prevails.

On behalf of HSA I can only apologise for having to disappoint you Samara. We face the threat of eviction on 4 May 2014 hence why we can't accept any bookings after that date. We tried to find out on Tues night how the council intend to run the building should they succeed in evicting us. All we got was an unhelpful and rather lame response that they would consult whatever that means!
You're not alone I'm afraid, We've also had to decline 2 wedding receptions and a 60th birthday party enquiry from a Hazlemere resident. I hope that you find an alternative venue. Thanks for your support.
