The scale of this response is shifting how we approach the next phase of our outreach to the development team. I am currently finalizing a formal proposal that addresses these specific community concerns and will be sending it to their public relations department by the end of the week.

This was one of the defining features of the original Splatoon! It deserves to stay, and Nintendo's slow-build hate between Callie and Marie can't and shoudn't change that!
Do not make this the final splatfest! There can be many more. Support your own product, if you want consumers to keep supporting you.

I love SPLATFESTS I just got the game a week ago and this is my first one they are so fun Nintendo can't just get everyone started and cut them off from the best part of the game
