Save Our Soccerdome

If this facility closes it will be a massive loss; especially to all the children who use it, and at a time when this borough is desperate to improve health outcomes for local people.

How can Wigan Athletic take it over when it was funded by Lottery money

This will be a great loss to the community and yet again is another threat to the health of the population of Wigan

Disgraceful,

Have been playing six aside there last 19 years on a Monday night and last 18 months walking football on a Wednesday,a great place with fantastic staff,3/4 thousand people use this facility every week and it's an absolute disgrace that this has been allowed to happen

Community resources are invaluable and must be maintained for people.

Attended so many football parties here as a little girl and had one myself, stood and watched my older brother play Friday night football and watched a group of amazingly talented children form a super team and come together at the soccer dome every weekend. Also used the facility for tag rugby games. Ridiculous to think this is going ahead with the number of children that will lose out of a safe environment to play football. I’m sure the Wigan athletic team would completely agree that there’s must be another way without taking such a massive part of Wigan’s community away not only from the youngsters but everyone.

Keep it open for the kids

My son like many other children has grown up playing football at the soccer dome with out this facility I don’t see what else in Wigan can offer the range of indoor and outdoor pitches used to coach, train and play The soccer done needs investment and some refurbishment not turning into a youth academy for a select few

It would be a shame for the local community to lose access to this arena considering it's used by so many clubs & schools
