My daughter just got started jumping last year in the 4th grade at Sunapee elementary and jumped with AOC in Andover, We are looking forward to her competing at the HS level. Please keep the jump, we are losing too many of our heritage athletic venues.

Please keep the jump. We need to be providing more opportunities for our jumpers not less.

This has always been one of the greatest opportunities for our students to try out for something huge. It should continue to be there for our NH kids! After all, we do live in the white mountains!!

If our ski jump was deemed to dangerous, why would we tear it down instead of restoring it and making it safe once more? There are people in the school who love winter just so they can be on the ski jumping team. How could we have a ski jumping team if we don't have a ski jump of our own? Pride and tradition folks.

As a former Student of PRHS, it hurts me to see this in the News. The ski jump and its team, who have competed annually in the state competition, which happens to be the only highschool ski jump championships in the Country making it the National Highschool Ski Jump final Meet. To close this Jump would be a great shame to the students, alumni, and local residents alike. The jump may need some new boards and nails, of which would probably be cheaper than the quote to have it removed. Buy the supplies and i can gurantee you will have enough hands to save this legendary Jump.

Ski jumping is not as dangerous as other sports. Giving many of our children a chance at success at a sport they learn to love. Mother of a ski jumper I am.

As an alumni there are some traditions and sports you just don't throw away... This is one of those, maintain that jump every year like it should have been and we wouldn't have to be doing this begging to keep a traditional sport that has a lot of students that want to do it
