Long established and successful schools must take priority in a situation like this. To try and unify two different ethos schools into one is neither fair nor is it possible for any side. Although Educate Together schools may be the modern and progressive idea of the day, schools first and foremost are there to educate and Holy Trinity have been successfully carrying out that task for years. It would be an injustice to forget that when making any decision on the future of the proposed site

There should be choice in education, closing smaller schools reduces parental choice and limits options for children who might thrive better in a more personal environment with smaller class sizes. Big is not always best! This school was a perfect match for my own son. Parents need choices!

Holy Trinity have waited a long time and the students and teachers deserve this site for themselves.
