I have spent my mornings walking down the High Street talking to the business owners who are terrified that their livelihoods will vanish overnight. Watching them stare at the proposed site plans with such worry is heartbreaking because I know these families have given everything to keep our village alive. We are currently preparing a formal response for the planning committee to ensure our unique local character is not discarded for a corporate bottom line.

Seeing this level of support confirms that my neighbors care just as deeply about the future of our High Street as I do. We have created real momentum to protect the local businesses that define our home. This shows the council that our village identity is not for sale.

ridiculous idea. we have perfectly good shops already. stop trying to kill the community feel
The high street is already a nightmare to drive down without big lorries blocking everything up. No more co-op please
Ixworth doesnt need another supermarket. support our local butchers and the existing shops they work hard enough
Local shops will go bust if this gets built. traffic is bad enough already and this will just make it worse for people living here

Very concerned about noise levels both refrigeration and deliveries of/to the freezer/warehouse which is adjacent to existing and new-build properties.
