Removing these people would be elder abuse. Let them live in peace.

I would like to know why the property was sold with the foreseeable provision that after 5 years many old people would be turned out.

This is unconscionable! Respect for our elders is (or should be) a pillar of our national ethical values. Everything should be done to ensure that our seniors are treated, housed, & cared for with dignity & respect. This *extension* is the minimum effort of what needs to be done for them, so at least grant it (for another TEN years at least) so that further work can be done to address the needs of all CA seniors so they do not have to worry about their housing security ever again

At anytime to put corporate wealth ahead of the human life is wrong .
Even worse with this Pandemic that
should be the last thing anyone should
do .

My Dad was a resident at Keira Northwest that has since closed displacing many fragile elderly Issei and Nessei. I am in total empathy to your efforts!

Please consider a fair extention. Under the restrictions of COVID-19, citizens are not able to express their concerns about this project and the displacement of the residents of Sakura

Take care of these seniors properly in the culturally sensitive manner they are used to. The govt should take over the facility.
