Truly shameful that Pacifica for kicking seniors out in the midst of a pandemic for their own profit!

Please do everything in your power to keep each of the four facilities open. This is a matter of life and death. Please support the compassionate level of care that helps our Japanese-speaking and Japanese American residents have a quality of life that is sensitive to their personal history and humanity. Communicating in (or just hearing) the Japanese language, eating familiar Japanese food and connecting through a common culture are lifelines. Please do the right thing.

COVID relief must go to stop displacement in middle of pandemic and abusers should not profit from suffering.

Please extend the contract because these seniors need this great facility so much and they need time to find another alternative that is even partially as excellent as Sakura. Please help since we are in the middle of a pandemic and we can’t add more burdens to these desperate seniors and their families. Thank you

My mother resides at Sakura ICF. If ICF closes she will be without the level of care, compassion and medical services her health requires. She calls Sakura her "home" and no one should be allowed to take that away from her and the others that live there.

My mother has been residing at Sakura ICF for 10 years. She will be devastated if she were to be forced to leave her home of the past 10 years. Where would she go? Who would care for her as a Japanese American and treat her with respect and dignity as a Japanese American? Please Save our Seniors, Please save my mom!

Japanese seniors deserve bilingual and culturally sensitive care. Don’t abandon them to insensitive business interests. We depend on our government to protect these seniors.

Sakura ICF provides a critical service to our aging Japanese American community in Los Angeles and I implore you to exercise the power and influence of your office to extend the Conditions of Sales to preserve Sakura ICF for our seniors.

My mother is a current resident of Sakura ICF and was our only option for her after my father passed. She does not speak any English, so having a culturally sensitive facility was vital for her. To be able to communicate her needs in Japanese, having familiar foods and activities is so important and life saving. Please save this facility from closing. There are no others like it!

Best place for these lovely people is to have a place they can call home, and Kei-Ai in the city of Gardena is there home! Please save this home just for them!

Since the owner and operators were deemed to be out of compliance last year and presumably this year too, the term of the conditions should be extended for the period that they were non-compliant.

Please extend and help these seniors. Many, if not all were send to relocation camps during the war. Pay them back with kindness and an extension

My Japanese-speaking grandparents were former residents of Keiro, and the culturally appropriate care was one reason why they were there. When we are living in our final years, the cultural sensitivity of being able to communicate with our care givers, physicians, and even to eat familiar foods makes a tremendous difference to comfort in people's lives. Many of us who are English-speaking, take this for granted, but we are also a diverse country who have benefited from the labor of immigrants of past generations. Please extend the conditions! Thank you!
