I find this action really hard to swallow as these people were forcibly removed from their homes in 1942 and yet again, we are witnessing another, similar kind of replay, all in the name of profits for somebody else. Some consideration of their situation, and the past being replayed again, should weigh in all this.

Evicting people during a pandemic, let alone seniors, is heartless and cruel. We shouldn’t be displacing folks who have been building a home and building community for decades simply so a corporation can increase its bottom line.

Some of these people already lost everything (homes, many possessions...) when they were interned in camps after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Please do not let them lose their place to live now. We should be protecting our elderly! Would you do this to your grandparents?

Pacifica’s behavior and treatment of the elders at Keiro nursing homes is disgusting. Do not evict our Japanese and Japanese American elders! We need to ensure they receive the culturally tailored and affordable care and housing they need to age with grace and dignity!

It's imperative that we preserve the conditions at the facilities. Please don't allow corporate greed to erode cultural tradition.
