SAVE OUR SENIORS! We Need a Fair and Just Extension of the Conditions!

Do not sell these two facilities. This is not the time. It’s not OK to displace the seniors during a pandemic that will be affecting people for the next couple of years.

I will keep everyone in prayer that something can done to resolve this situation.

The California AG needs to follow-up on Pacifica's non-compliance. Otherwise, what's the point of the AG requiring Pacifica to comply with the Conditions of the Sale?

It would be a tragedy to displace these seniors in the midst of a raging pandemic. Have a heart and give them some peace of mind, in these previous years they are living out, for god’s sake.

how come tania ibanez and scott chan, the folks in the 'charitable trusts' division are so quiet?

Attorney General Becerra and Governor Newsom, Please protect necessary, treasured culturally competent services for these seniors. The knowledgeable staff and volunteers here continue quality services that provide rare bilingual/bicultural services for Japanese and Japanese American seniors that cannot be found elsewhere. Both my parents were residents here and it brought them both joy and solace to reside in a community that understood them.

Please protect the appropriate and needed care of our elderly. We hope you are faithful to your mandate, to protect our communities from economic greed.

Please extend the agreement. It is cruel during this Global Pandemic not to extend it. Would you want to be forced to move next month?

Please remember that these homes were created for families who had suffered great injustices by the United States government, had their homes and their businesses taken away, were put in dusty internment camps and so many had to start over completely… Keiro was established to honor their parents — so that they would be able to relax and be together and enjoy culturally sensitive food, song, dance activities on a daily basis together. that is the joy of security and home. that is what must be retained now.

A deal is a deal. Let’s be fair. Especially right now in an pandemic.

Our seniors need culturally sensitive care and some need Japanese speaking caregivers. Please let them have a place to stay with respect and dignity.

These seniors deserve a comfortable and culturally sensitive care. Please support it!

For our seniors...

Keiro- was a significant cultural senior care facility founded in the 1980’s. My father was on one of the original founding committees. It originated from a need to provide culturally sensitive care for elders. It is urgent to preserve this facility.

Please extend the conditions that preserves the bilingual and bicultural care provisions that make this place special.
