I have been visiting and making friends there for almost 2 months. These wonderful people have welcomed me and made me feel at home with them. Unless you go there and visit with them, you have no idea what they are all about, you do not know their stories or who they are. There are Vets there that are houseless, but a tent is way better than opened air, under a bridge, in a woods somewhere where they are subject to getting hurt, not fed etc. Keep this opened for them.

I am the director of the Community Volunteer Group in Akron for the past 5 years, and fully support this organization. I have watched members of this group, over the years, go from living in tents in the woods, to having a community with accountability, rules/regulations, and value not only to themselves, but also to this community. This is an asset to Akron.
