This is not a safe route, don't put children in danger!

As an adult, I don't feel safe walking or cycling this route on my own never mind a teenager.

The walking route is too dangerous. I understand the need to assess but it is not safe.

Will it take an accident or a death to get people to listen. Don't have blood on your hands, our children are precious.

I believe the walking route suggested by the council to be unsafe. It consists of a 2.6 mile walk along an extremely busy A road, with cars and lorries travelling at 60mph. The pavement is also very narrow. There has been no consultation with local residents or of the families and children affected.

An hours walk and just under 3 miles along a 60mph main trunk road. Would you put your 11 year old child in this much danger at peak times twice a day?

The A49 is clearly not a safe route for 169 children to walk to school even if there are any adults with 4 hours a day to accompany them.

This is ludicrous to think that amount of children can be safe walking along the A49 to school

It is not a safe route due to the speed of traffic, no traffic calming measures or restrictions. There are three crossings which are unsafe

Abysmal treatment of school children. CWAC should be ashamed.

This is not a safe route for the children to walk and it is quite frightening to watch the video and look at photo evidence

I used to live in Cuddington and went to Weaverham High and it's ridiculous to expect children to walk
