Im appalled at the proposed closure of the sauna. its amuch valued and NEEDED faciltyfor the whole comunity and surrounding areas. i myself have been using it for 25 years plus and im not the only one!!! im truly shocked that the council has this decision to close this worthwhile facility.

I have been using both the gym and health suite at DSC up to three times a week for the last 5 years. If the closure of this beneficial health facility goes ahead it will be a huge loss to our community, which local facility will they close the door on next when the budget is squeezed?

Closing the sauna would cause the loss so many positive aspects for many members, who would then probably close their membership and be lost to the leisure centre. The runners of the leisure centre need to catch a glimpse of what a positive asset a developed sauna/health suite could be.

This facility is an important part of the whole centre, puzzled by the lack of investment and marketing of it, other gyms in the area do not have this type of facility

The sauna is for me one of the best things about Dronfield Sports Centre and certainly one of the main reasons behind my continued membership. The council need to realise just how many customers value this amenity and invest some of our membership fee in to it rather than just letting it fall into disrepair to justify their argument for closing it.

It does need to be mixed. Stupid having set times. Just wear swimming costumes at all times. Simple. Why not open on a Sunday?

The only single sex sauna in the area a gym is not just about exercise but the wellbeing of each member which the sauna offers a time to relax

Upgrade the current facility and more people will use it. It was not upgraded when the rest of the sports was. And is now rather shabby causing less people to use it
