He is the most involved principal, always checking in on classes, going to sporting events and greeting students every single morning. The board clearly only cares about test scores and not the students

Always greets with a smile and has genuine concern about his students at all times. Have heard nothing but great things from the students at Westerly High School as our principal and will be deeply saddened to see him go! :(

Our family was very saddened to hear of this decision, which seems completely unwarranted. He’s forward thinking, implements wonderful programs, and it is so obvious he truly loves his job. We feel it’s the school committee that needs to be replaced and not Mr Grimes!

Mr. Grimes is a very respectful man. He is a good principal and the only one who would listen to me about my son, he is currently trying to fix his situation. I don't want to see any other principal at the high school.
