Please help to keep Creaton school open. I was at the school for 7 years and have such fantastic memories. The school fully prepared me for secondary school and gave me all the support i could have needed. All of my friends from Creaton school feel exactly the same as our primary school years were so happy. I have recently returned to the school for work experience and had to pleasure to see the outstanding work Mrs Bolton is doing. She has such a positive effect on all the pupils as do the rest of the fantastic staff. Please keep this wonderful school open !

Save our school. Mrs Bolton is prepared to keep it going and would be more than capable to do so and to attract new pupils. Do not allow this lovely village school to close.

The enormous value of small, local primary schools and pre school groups must never be ignored. They are the hub of communities and offer so much more than 3Rs.
Short sighted, screwed up thinking on behalf of those decision makes is what us destroying our country and our rural communities.

It wasn't that many years ago that the school was at full capacity, people were coming from miles to to send their children here because of the fantastic reputation it had. The support staff were incredible they were the heart of it and really nurtured the children and gave them the happy stable environment that all children need. I can still here the hustle and bustle now and those kids will keep those happy memories right through their life, that is just as valuable in primary school as any grade, it gives them the right foundation to achieve those grades in senior school. There were 86 pupils once and it was fab, it was a pleasure to have been a part of that. All my children have loved it here, they were there when it was full and some were still there when the numbers declined but they still settled into senior school as good as anyone from other schools. Don't close the lid on something that has the potential to be that place again. If it's broken don't throw it away....fix it!

It would be very sad for this school to close. It is part of the village community and a very good grounding for the children’s start in life. Many things are being taken away from villages I hope this won’t be another one.

Rural village life is different to living in large towns and built up areas so treat it that way! A small beautiful village like this needs the small beautiful setting of this school...it's part of the charm of village life...don't let that be a thing of the past too!

My mother and her two sisters attended this gorgeous little school in the 30s, myself and many of my cousins attended in the 60s. We all went on to achieve great things in our chosen careers. Please don't let this wonderful school close. I still live within very close proximity and I love to hear all the children's happy voices at play times. Thank you.

Closing village schools is not the answer to the chronic under investment in rural communities. To take away a school is to close the heart of the community. There also should be protection for the dedicated members of staff who go above and beyond to support the school.
