I love this school. My children were very happy here. It would be so sad to lose a school which really does tend to the needs of the whole child as well as keeping learning fun.

My daughter attended this lovely school and had great experiences in a safe, warm and comfortable environment. The school gave her the perfect educational and pastoral start to her life. It needs to stay open!

Great Creaton Primary School has been an amazing school for all three of my children. I live in Creaton and also attended the school myself as a child. Our rural community is being gradually eroded and the loss of the school will have a detrimental effect on local employment. At present I am unsure of what will happen to the pre-school unit located at the school which also employs local people. Sadly the threat of closure of the school has been sprung upon the village and it feels to me like the decision to close as already be taken. I believe that learners that were due to start in September have been told there is no place for them. If the current Head and Chair of Governors do not want to run the school because they believe it is not viable then surely they should have aired these views before effectively forcing a closure. If the school had been graded as outstanding by Ofsted I am sure we would not be in this position? If we can never reach outstanding due to our small size and high numbers of SEN learners then there is a major fault in the system. I am a teacher myself and have seen numerous learners with significant challenges, progress through the school and blossom as individuals.

Please save this school. I know a few people who have children here who will not have the one on one treatment anywhere else and will struggle daily. Sign not take that opportunity away from then children!

This school is a credit to education. You can’t put a price on happy, well balanced children and small schools are needed to help keep communities together. Please do not let this school close.

My granddaughter attends this school and my grandson is due to start in September! The level of teaching there is second to none ! My granddaughter who has struggled in the past to settle in large environments loves her school and has come on leaps and bounds.
