This is a pretty shocking about-turn by the Mayor and we need to hold him to his election promises that got him into office.

A cut in police numbers for Wandsworth would be a retrograde step and reduce protection of all in the borough. This will be a false economy and should not take place.

I only moved to battersea because of there was a police station at the top of the road. Now if this station closes i will not feel that safe in my area.

The sooner we get a Conservative Mayor of London back, the better.

It is vitally important to maintain our police stations in Wandsworth and return to lower crime levels in our borough.

This is unacceptable. I voted for Mr Khan to uphold law and order in London. This is NOT the way to keep our streets safe Mr Mayor. I won't be voting for you again in a hurry.

It seems Sadiq Khan is breaking his promisw. We cannot let this happen.

How can Mayor Sadiq Khan close Police Counters and Stations despite his election promise.

No more police stations and counters must be closed. It is almost impossible to find one or go to one as it is. And police numbers cannot be reduced - we know that presence on the streets is positive and should have more of it

Even low level crime is now increasing, fly tipping etc

This must stay as all other stations have been sold off for housing

We need to continue to keep Wandsworth as a "low crime borough" and need to have sufficient numbers of police to do so. We also need police stations where people can report crimes and interact with the police.

This is a huge and diverse area and we cannot afford to lose either police personnel - including Community Safety Officers - or 'front desks' in police stations. Wait 'til the Momentum thugs really get going in this area and there'll be plenty more for our diminishing force to handle.

I would have thought London needed the police more than ever with the heightened terrorist alerts, which is opening the door for other crimes while the police are occupied in central london .

Today it feels more urgent than ever to keep police officers visible on the streets and police stations open all around the UK - particularly in London. Closing stations would be absolute madness, with increasing population comes increase in crime. How are we meant to keep ourselves and our children safe?

We enjoy a relatively low crime rate in Wandsworth although nearby boroughs do not have the same levels. This is for many reasons not least the lvl of policing we have in Wandsworth. The number of officers and police stations must not be reduced.

The Police Counters & Stations should definitely remain open - the Clapham riots weren't that long ago.

We don't want to turn Wandsworth into a soft target
