I live on Prince of Wales Drive and there have been over 8 break-ins in the recent week - cars and ground floor flats. All the more reason, for more police on the streets and easy access for local residents to go to the their local police stations. Cutting the budget for police or stations is not in the community interest and should be resisted.

I am amazed that the Mayor is still closing police stations with the increase in crime, car thefts, will be no where to go for protection and reporting crimes will be no where to go for protection and reporting crimes we need protection and need to be able to report crimes.
Save our police stations please, and more police on our streets, please

I am surprised this decision has been made, the power has been given to someone who has no idea how to tackle a burglar, how to taser someone, how to catch a theif, how to take down a rape statment, how to apprehend a supsect, how to interpret a charge sheet. It is a crime to close the stations ! it will enhance the criminals, period . nothing more to say. I sincerely hope the appeals process currently in preparation being lodged will come up with something. Mayor Khans wife certainly knows about "how to appeal a parking ticket" as shes made a business out of it, at the back of Wimbledon! where our station is being proposedly closed!.

What is the justification for closing 3 police stations and letting 73 police officers go over the last couple of years? Why is our MP not fighting this tooth and nail?

Violent crimes have increased under Sadiq Khan watch with London becoming unsafe to work and live in. London needs more police officers and stations throughout all the Boroughs of London
