The NC GOP elite are the same as the national GOP elite, they refuse to listen to the voters who make up the party. They assume that they know what is best for us. Mr. Harnett was elected by the "common folk" of the GOP and this fact is driving the establishment round the bend. Their power has been attacked and they responded in an ugly fashion. The best thing to do is to get rid of the lot of them. That is why I support the Chair and Vice Chair in their conflict with the central committee (now doesn't that have a Soviet Union ring to it?).

Hasan wants to make the party more inclusive and approachable. Right now the GOP appears to represent a bunch of wealthy, white people. That is not what our nation looks like. Our party should represent ALL people who believe in the same things we believe in. There are some that want to keep it just like it was. If that happens the party will eventually cease to exist. The CC doesn't realize what's at stake, or maybe they do but they don't care. If we don't change, we are DUN. If you take out the pavement pounders and poll peeps, the same people that elected Hasan, no Republican will get elected - accept for Dan Forrest. There is so much riding on this upcoming election. It's hard to believe there is so much division at a time when our country is dependent on us to get it right. We will not get another chance.

NCGOP should be ashamed. This is dispicable. The party's central committee needs to be fired! Hasan Harnett is an honorable man who was legitimately voted into office. You have an obligation to work with him,not against him. But, you don't like his Conservative credentials! And, there lies the problem. The grassroots will not be still or silent. We will stand with Hasan and not with the NCGOP!
