I'm from the UK and ate in Duke's for the first time when sitting in the outdoor seating. It summed up the New York diner experience for me and should be retained.

Although I live in the UK i'm sorry to hear that the NIMBY brigade are attacking your customers rights to enjoy themselves, if you have been doing this for 20 years they knew that before they moved in. I'm coming on holiday to nyc in september and hope to use your pavement cafe.good luck
