I have never known the customer of City Crab to create any type of disturbance that would offend people and required City Crab to remove their outdoor seating. Obviously the people who want to do this are small minded and want everyone to do exactly what they want - it has nothing to do with disturbance/public peace - it has to do with power. Furthermore, these people live near Union Square Park - are they going to try to get that closed next?

I personally never use sidewalk tables, but the ones at City Crab present no inconvenience to pedestrians or any unpleasant aspects to neighbors.
We need more outdoor seating in NYC!
