This nursing position provides essential service to the Immunodeficiency patient population. The risk to this vulnerable patient group of cutting back this nursing position, far outweighs any imagined benefit to the health care system plan. Full and proper risk benefit analysis and transparency in such decisions is expected of decision-makers, by the Canadian population.

Don’t take her away when so many need her! Keeping such an amazing link in the community when so many work so well with her is key for the health support of her patients.

I would hope that the province could secure Lynda Theoret's position. From all the testimonials I have read this nurse seems to go above and beyond medical procedures to provide overall quality care. I have a personal friend of mine that has received care and she commented "Friends, many of you know about my health situation and the excellent care I have received at the Ottawa Hospital. There are over 200 of us in this area that rely on a single nurse to check our IG levels, give us encouragement and provide supplies and support. She tirelessly teaches others and educates herself to better serve us." In these testimonials you can hear the extensive care that Lynda has given her patients, well above the medical side of things. Please ensure that this amazing nurse is able to continue to provide this support to all the patients that she sees. Thank you Sandy Robertson

I was diagnosed with CVID in 2014. Every step of the way Lynda has been there. From the initial treatment and showing me how to do SCIG to being available to all patients who have questions or needs. I can't imagine how we would be able survive without her there for all of us.

Linda Theoret has been a God-send to me since I started doing Hizentra injections in 2016. She has been on top of things for me, always available to answer questions and offer advice. When I found out about the changes, I had a sudden feeling of loss and sadness. When you are going through a serious medical condition, having someone like Lynda Theoret there to support me was critical to my well being. I don't want to see her go, I want her around to continue this good work she is doing for so many. Please keep Lynda in her post so she can continue to provide her quality of care. Makes no sense to not keep her with all her expertise.

As a patient of Lynda Theoret since 2012 I can attest she is a very valuable asset to the Ottawa Hospital Home Infusion Program.

I can't imagine how the infusion program could continue without her. I started infusions in nov and Lynda has been the most significant resource at the general hospital. In my opinion her position has been and would continue to be vital to the health care of infusion patients. I am afraid of how this loss will affect the quality of care i and others like me receive.

Lynda has been invaluable for the support of us patients doing home infusions. Immune therapy is so individualized and it is made orders of magnitude easier with the help of a dedicated nurse. Her compassion and dedication to the health of her patients is obvious and we would be at a loss without her.
