i am loosing my sight and the bus is becoming more important to me I take my young grandchildren on it too we were made to shield during the pandemic and could not go out as we pleased please dont leave us with one bus an hour when BARTON HAVE THEM EVERY 10 MINUTES its unfair to Risinghurst to be penalised for obeying the Governments rules why cant some number 8 bus include Risinghurst on there route our doctors are in Barton and our Church is in Barton please show some compassion please

Too far to walk to and from the No. 8 bus stop for the many elderly Risinghurst residents

We are constantly being urged to use public transport instead of our cars, so reducing the no 9 service to hourly does not help achieve this. Please reinstate the twice hourly service.

A one-decker bus instead of two?

As a resident of Risinghurst whose family, including myself, relies heavily on public transport, the removal of the number 9 bus has a detrimental effect on our ability to access both work and leisure. Given the high subsidies stagecoach recieve, from our council tax, I hope that the decision to stop the service is reviewed and that this important connection for residents of Risinghurst to the City of Oxford is reinstated.

Surely some of the empty number 8s could be used to cover this route instead? It is a long way to walk to Green Rd for those who have mobility problems.

The No 9 service to Risinghurst is essential. I often see elderly people using the service. I have used the service over 20 yrs living in the area. It shouldn't be assessed that any decrease in use, especially over the pandemic, means there is no demand. A frequent service for the area is essential for young and old. please keep our community linked to the wider area, GPs, shops, hospitals etc.

Public transport should be an essential element of town planning. If we want to reduce carbon footprint & support mobility for all this service must be maintained. Perhaps the frequency could be considered but it must be maintained otherwise Risinghurst will become an isolated island.

This service is needed. It was the only bus going to the area.
