Shambles of a decision and under hand tactics and shady backhand deals .

So many options where the kids playpark could go that wouldn’t take away from the events field that is so well used and with a fantastic back drop of Benarty Hill and the Pithead turning wheel.

Do not want to lose this space as the events bring many people to them

Keep the meedies as it is, the events group put so much work into organising events there, it would be terrible to take that away, people come from near and far to these events, so keep it as it is

This play area is a great resource and ideally located close to the visitor centre. Any reduction in size or change of location will negatively impact on visitor experience and safety. Leave it alone!

Save our park. It is one of the busiest and best parks in Scotland.

Not just locals look forward to these events. People far & wide come to enjoy these special events which are getting bigger & better each year. Brings in much need revenue for the area. Don't mess with things that are flourishing.

How can this department be so out of touch with the locals and the obvious successes of such a wonderful events venue.
