Update the existing play park leave the grass area as it is for local community and surrounding areas to enjoy all the events that take place. As well as giving an open area for kids and dog walkers to enjoy

I do not understand why the new plans are even getting consideration. Just upgrade the current play area and leave it where it is. Surely this will be a fraction of the cost!

The play park should remain in its current position and grassy area kept for those activities which enhance the physical and mental well-being of individuals in society.

The play park is in need of upgrading & needs to be an inclusive area so that all children can benefit. However, it should remain on its current site. The Events field is equally important, as the events that are held on it attact thousands of people to the area. Bands come from all over the world to take part in the Benarty Pipe Band Competition & there is nothing that can compare to the sight of the massed pipes & drums marching down the field from the iconic Mary Pit Head. Likewise, the backdrop of the loch at Rockore is also helping to make that one of the most sought after festival tickets in the UK & small businesses across the Cowdenbeath area benefit from that fact. The proposal currently under consideration for the play park & Events field is short-sighted and needs to be rejected.

I grew up and have had many family days out at the meedies, this change needs to be stoped to preserve it for future generations to come
