All that money spent last year to do the park got wasted with planning and zoning and no one knows where it all went.. now let's reduce the cost, make it smaller and give up what we have! And then lost tourism from the events that are held in the grass and reduce incomes further... makes total sense!

Our children suffer enough with the current climate, I don't think it's nessasery to take a place of freedom and enjoyment away from them also.

Play is important for the early development of kids, don’t take that away. This may be the only green space some families have. Don’t take that away.

postitioning of play park currently allows children some freedom to wonder between park and beach while parents can keep an eye on them from a central spot. Moving the location will make this much less appealing to children and adult. children love the current facilitator the play park and making ir reason for our visit.

This park is used by loads of people as it is just now so there is no need for change. Children have fewer places to play as it is and this play park is always busy.

It would be a tragedy if this wax to happen. The local events are supported by the community and beyond in their thousands and bring in revenue for the park and local groups. When the is already a designated play park area in suite, it beggars belief why there’s a need to even consider this.

Don't understand the thinking behind this. Why spend money to do this, when the park is fine where it is, and not long been done up.

Scandalous there’s no need for a new play park.
This will ruin future events eg. Benarty gala, pipe band comp. Rockore etc. these are massive events for the community.

£1m playpark can definitely be earmarked for the current site. To move it elsewhere is at best ill-informed, at worst, malicious!
