This area of the park should not be used for a Childrens play park, where the park is I think is adequate space which should be resigned. Taking away this area of the park will reduce the use of the park for various public celebrations.

Area required for local events that have been using the park for years, The playpark that already exists is more than adequate there is no requirements for it to be extended

This proposal, if granted, would dramatically reduce the amount of families that travel here specifically for this park. We are lucky to have such a good park

I think its silly to move the existing play park from its location now to somewhere that will hinder other events at the park. And a play park a third of the size!! Talk about bad ideas. A negative impact on events at the park and play at the park in one swoop.

Understand u want to extend the park but why would u want to do it where thousands of people come together few times a year for events that the community loves. The meedes will probably loose so mutch money as with they events on am sure they get a decent amount of money as lots people also buy from the cafe, just have a think cos everyone loves the likes of the gala, pipe band, bark in the park and possibly rockore the most

This space is invaluable to the community and uses by many local and wide for social events. Reducing the play park size would be a sin for the children and families of the community and further afield visitors

Absolutely no need for the park to be replaced and relocated. The events that are held in the space proposed for the new park would miss out, the park itself is smaller than the current play park and it is a waste of money and resources! Have a look at replacing all the smaller parks in the area instead!

We need the area for events and family days, it brings the community together. If the park is moved, the we lose more than we gain.

It’s all about the money. How about what the community want. These events are for the community and shouldn’t be moved for a play park. Rockore and other events are for us all. What you have proposed is not.
